The Garden
See these things
They're just so ugly
A quiet chime rings
Under filth and pity
I have drug me
In this garden I view
That blooms so sweetly
Not as beautiful as you
Don't need this sympathy
Can live in apathy
The wind that cries out
Between the drops of rain
That is my shout
To rid me of this pain
Everything can't stay the same
It can't heal me, no
The flowers that sing
My mind can't seem to follow
This comfort you could bring
But this scene can't change a thing
I found relation to my heart
The rain that flows
Through this garden's dirt
Running cold and ugly so
There will be no rainbow
Flashes, only memories
I must regain my self-respect
A part of you I will always carry
And find my true self
Away from hate and regret...
