Rap-metal...? Not quite...very close, though. Mix the punk rock sound of music with the graveled voice of one of the two lead singers with another lead singer that sounds more like a Backstreet Boy than a rock-rapper, and you have the band known as Linkin Park, formerly Hybrid Theory. Hybrid Theory also happens to be the title of their debut album, featuring the first single, One Step Closer. The only complaint I have for this band is that often times one of the singers allows his voice to slip into that boy-band tone, which doesn't fit into the music at all. They should leave the pop sound for the boy-bands. Although, occasionally it works oddly enough.
