Dedicated to JaYdEn and NiCkY!!!! "Its about Laurel..." Jayden began."Uh-huh, what's up with her?" Ryan asked, crossing his arms."She discreetly told me that she loves you." Ryan laughed a little."What?" he said. "You heard right." Jayden said.Laurel was sitting on Amir's lap at a table and they were laughing about something."Maybe I should ask her away from Amir for a second." Ryan said as he headed toward them."May I have this dance?" Ryan asked,holding out his hand as Laurel got up to get more wine."I can't..." Laurel said, ordering more wine."And if you want to talk then tell me what's up." She added."Well..." Ryan said getting a bit shy,"Jayden said you told her that you loved me." Laurel smiled."I do,but only as someone I can talk to about anything." Ryan sensed she wasn't telling the whole truth but let it pass.Laurel got the bottle of wine from the bartender and whispered to Ryan:"If I was still lonely and single, I would be yours." Laurel ran her hand down Ryan's cheek affectionatly.Ryan smiled.'I just got divorced and I haven't felt affection like that in a long time.' Ryan thought sadly.Amir came up to Laurel and cut a look saying: "back off buddy." and then kissed Laurel on the cheek."I must be going now." Laurel said turning away with Amir.'God damn,I love you.' Ryan thought, filling with jealousy of how lucky his bandmate was.Paige came up to Ryan laughing."Ryan loves laurel!Ryan loves laurel!" Paige said in a singsong voice resorting to 4th grade antics."Shut up Paige..." Ryan said hiding his embarassment."I heard the whole convo as I was talking to Jayden." "You what?" Ryan questioned in slight shock. "I know you heard what I said so I choose not to repeat." Paige said sipping his drink."She's cute I like her too." Paige said after swallowing the ice cold liquid."But I know she and Amir have a tight relationship and all.." Paige trailed off." "Yeah," Ryan said deep in thought of Laurel. "I gotta go sweetie," Amir said as he got off of his cell phone."Ok..." Laurel said."I love you." Amir said and bent over and kissed Laurel."I love you too." Laurel said and kissed him back.Laurel sat there lonely.Ryan came back to the table with a drink for her."I trust you." Laurel said as she drank the beverage."Do trust me." Ryan said with a mischievious grin on his face.After a few minutes Ryan asked: "Would you like to dance now?" Laurel felt real careless and lightheaded."Sure.." Laurel replied and Ryan took her to the dance floor.Their hands mingled,then their bodies touched, and finally their lips and tongues were introduced for the first time. To be continued......
