PART 1

Darkness and silence surounded her- she loved it. It was a gift for her but today it wasn’t that dark as she liked it, the moon was shining and everything was coloured in a pale silver and it didn’t look real, it looked like a ghost town. It was almost midnight and she moved carefully throogh the empty streets of a small town. When she heard something she quickly hide in the shadow of one of the houses. If you had been close to her you would have smelled, saw, felt and even tasted her fear. Sometimes she looked behind her but seeing that the street still was empty didn’t calm her down, it just made her going faster and faster and when she thought to hear steps behind her she almost started to run but her escape was suddenly stopped by chrushing into someone. She wanted to scream but she wasn’t able to get a word out of her mouth. The stranger softly put a hand over it ”Shhhhhhh! I don’t want to hurt you we’ve got the same enemies...” ”Why... why do you think that I have enemies?” she asked being scared and confused- how could he know about them? He wasn’t part of the group she once had belonged to before... before ”they” killed’em all except her... but he spoke her language and EVERYONE was under ”their” controll except the few people ”they” had already killed and her. Of course in other countries there were more people like her rebells who wanted also an end for this dark times- to meet them she just had to cross the border without getting caught and tomorrow was her chance... But first she had to get rid off the stranger who was looking at her with his dark brown eyes she was attracted in a magical way by them but nevertheless she noticed that his hand went nervously through his short dark hair. Seeing him nervous calmed her a little bit down. He started to speak ”I even know WHO your enemies are... ”they” and the light!” ”The light???” she asked ”do you think I’m a vampire?” She smiled and he smiled back- she suddenly realised that she liked him, she liked his eyes, his hair, his smile, his deep voice, the way his hand went through his her and the way he looked at her, she just hoped that he only knew her enemies and not was one of them, but before she could go on thinking about him he started to speak again ”No I don’t think that you’re a vampire, but in the light you’ve no place to hide ( ), your friends are all dead , your hiding place is destroyed and you know ”their” people are everywhere... and I’m here to... to help you!” She wasn’t sure if she could trust him but obviously she had no other possibilities. She knew that she wouldn’t make it through the night alone, she’d been up for over two days and nights without really sleeping, eating or drinking she suddenly felt her body aching everywhere but this fact made her decision easier. Being alone again would kill her because she’d nearly used all power she had and so she’d have no chance to escape her invisible followers and she was sure that ”they”’d find her sooner or later. If she’d trust him her chances were 50-50, if he was one of”them” he would kill her - no doubt but if he was her friend as he said he’d be the only chance for her to free this world from ”them”. She had nothing to lose and so she asked „How and why do you wanna help me and... and what do you know about ”them”? He looked nervously at her ”I’ll explain it to you later, but now we gotta go, we are not safe here. Do you wanna come with me?” She simply nodded and they went through a lot of small dark streets. After ten minutes they arrived at a house that looked like noone lived in it. He led her in one cornor of the garden and through some trees and other plants that grew in chaos. Suddenly they stand in front of a small waterfall whose water felt into a small lake. ”Be careful” he warned her” you probably gonna get wet and inside there are a lot of bats, rats, spiders and other nice animals, but you don’t have to be in there too long.” He took her hand and led her behind the waterfall. Inside they stood in a small hole and some steps away she could see a tunnel and he led her towards the it while he put out a flashlight out of one of his pockets. He turned it one just in time to see a big fat rat hiding behind a rock. ”And now?” she asked. ”Well” he answered ”we just have to go straight ahead and then we’ll arrive at my house.” She realised that he was still holding her hand but she didn’t want to say something, because she really enjoyed the feeling to be with other people again and especially to be with him. "But why does it look like nobody lives in there?” He smiled and looked at her. She could hardly see his face in the weak light but she already know every single thing about it an she was a little bit scared when she thought about love at the first sight, she didn’t really belive in it and the moment was the worst one she could think about and so she pushed it in the back of her mind”Hmmm...you see ”they” know where I used to live, but ”they” don’t expect me there anymore...” he was concentrating on their way again and he had the same thoughts about love at the first sight as she and he also handled it the same way. ”But why do they know it?” she asked and stopped. He also stopped and slowly turned around to her ”I’ll explain it to you inside the house but first lets get out of this uncomfortable place, okay?” he said. ”Alright” she answered and squeezed his hand a little bit heavier. Soon they arrived at the end of the tunnel but she saw no exit and she thought that he would turn around now with a gun or something like this to kill her, but instead he lifted his hand to touch something. She wanted to warn him, because she saw a big, fat, black spider near his hand but before she was able to say something he pushed the spider and the wall opened itself. She could see into a room that didn’t seemed to be too different from the tunnel, it was just without animals and bugs. He softly pushed her inside and followed her. Just in the moment his second foot touched the floor the wall closed again without making any noise.
