British Christian thrash metal. They are a good example of what thrash metal should sound like. "Perpetual Defiance" was released in 1990, and was a pretty good thrash offering. However, "If But For One..." is one of those albums that makes me mourn their obscurity. I like every song on this CD, and that's pretty rare for me. It's impossible to find any of their stuff anymore.
The reason I know that it's not just me that thinks they're awesome, is because hardly a show went by where someone wouldn't request "the pirate song". The real title is "A Sailor's Farewell", and it is an awesome mixture of metal and some sort of old-timey sailor ditty.
