Gundam Wing ALTRON 1/144

As an typical alternate universe mobile suit, design wise, Altron is simply far away from any authentic gundam. The dragon arms, chest armor, and the trident are derived from Shenlong, then this kit has also added wings, tail, and a bulkier body. It looks,... like a circus gundam.
The model design has some weakness. The arm joints cannot support the weight of the dragon heads. After a while, the kit would refuse to raise its arm, unless you lock both hands by holding the trident. The ankles also suffers from heavy body parts, in addition to the poor ankle design in the Wing series. The kit itself is a bit heavier than other similar kits. With all the gadgets on the upper part of body, it can easily lose its balance. This kit has plunged from the shelf many times already, resulting in the lost of its right head beak (?) and other minor pieces.
When it's time to paint, I decided to use orange for a change. The original color scheme is very difficult to work on this 1/144 scale model, and I don't think it's worth the effort. I mixed Testors yellow and red to create this reddish orange, and airbrushed on the armors. The light parts are touched by white grey and light yellow. Then various sections are brushed with red, brown and black to bring overall balance in colors.
Here is a view from the top. Certain details are lost in this paint scheme, but this is a project for fun anyway. I didn't use the trident in this post because I can never painted it right. The pictures shown here are a little bit dark. Maybe I should get some reference on how to take photo...
