Wel, doedd o ddim yn lawer o syndod yn nag oedd. Mae timau Cymru wedi cael eu hanwybyddu mor aml yn ddiweddar - does neb yn disgwyl i Saeson y BBC yn Llundain i roi gair o sylw i'r gemau fydd cynrychiolwyr Cymru yng Nghystadleuthau UEFA yn wynebu dros yr haf.

Wrth gwrs roedd Hazel Ervine yn gallu dod o hyd i ddigon o amser i fynd trwy gemau timau'r Alban, ond ni fyddai Cymru yn derbyn yr un sylw. Mae 'Saeson y Gogledd' wedi ein twyllo droeon yn y gorffennol a rwan mae nw'n anwybyddu ein timau ni yn Ewrop. Dydi timau Cymru ddim wedi cael ryw lawer o lwyddiant yn Ewrop - ond dydi'r Alban chwaith heb roi'r cyfandir ar dan.

Wrth gwrs, does ddim eisio eich atgoffa fod ymdriniaeth 'Wales Today' drô hwn i'r safon isel arferol disgwyliedig - Boavista yn erbyn Bangor Town??????????

Well, it wasn't much of a shock now was it. Welsh teams have been ignored so often over the years - no one expects the Englishmen down in the BBC London to give a word of mention to the fixtures that will be played by the Welsh reperasentives will face in European Compertition over the summer.

Of course Hazel Ervine could find enough time to go through the Scotish teams fixtures, but could not afford the LofW teams the same attention. The 'Englishmen of the North' who have cheated us time after time are now ignoring our teams in Europe. The Welsh clubs haven't had a lot of success in Europe - but Scotland aren't exactly setting the continent alight with their play.

Of course, there is no need to remind you that the attention given by 'Wales Today' was to the usual poor standard expected - Boavista against Bangor Town?????????
