Chase the Egg TV.

Mae sianel deledu newydd yn mynd i ddechrau yn y dyfodol agos sef Teledu Dilyn yr Wy fydd yn cael ei gynhyrchu gan y BBC - sianel sydd wrth eu boddau gyda'r gêm eithriadol ddiflas hon. Daeth hyn ar ôl penderfyniad y gorfforaeth nepotistig hon i droi ei cefnau ar bêl droed Cymru. O gofio fod y frwydyr am benaeth chwaraeon y BBC yng Nghymru yn frwydyr rhwng cyn chwaraewyr rhyngwladol dilyn yr wy, nid yw hyn yn syndod o gwbl. Dim ond lwc oedd hi fod y penaeth diwethaf, Arthur Emyr - cyn gyflwynwyr y rhaglen bêl-droed Sgorio, efo ychydig ddiddordeb yn y gêm ryngwladol (h.y. nid ryw gem sydd ond yn cael ei chwarae yn ymerodraeth Lloegr rhwng ryw toffs.) Mae BBC Cymru wedi gwrthod cynhyrchu cyfres arall o'r rhaglen Gôl ar S4C - yr unig raglen oedd yn rhoi mwy o sylw na'r 30 eiliad i Gynghrair Cymru ar y newyddion neu Wales on Saturday (rhaglen wedi ei ffilmio yng Nghaerdydd i ddangos canlyniadau uwch-gynghrair Lloegr). Wrth-gwrs mae'r BBC trwy eu cytundeb sydd yn rhoi iddynt hawl ecscliwsif i ddangos gemau Cynghrair Cymru wedi sicrhau na fydd neb arall chwaith yn cael gwneud defnydd o'r gantriau costus maent wedi gorfodi timau'r gynghrair i'w codi.

Mae'r penderfynniad hwn i ddiddymu (a rhwystro) unrhyw sylw i Gynghrair Cymru yn rhywbeth sydd yn sicr o waredu unrhyw obaith i gael noddwyr i'r Gynghrair Genedlaethol ag hefyd unrhyw gytundebau fel un TNS efo Llansanffraid. Bydd yn creu sefyllfa debyg i'r un sy'n bodoli ar y radio ar hyn o bryd lle mae'r BBC wedi penderfynnu rhoi bron dim sylw i'r Gynghrair Genedlaethol, a wedi rhwystro sianeli lleol fel Radio Ceredigion i roi sylw i'r gynghrair. Mae'r BBC wedi penderfynnu lleihau'r arian a roddir i'r 'Premier Cup' sydd yn debygol iawn o arwain at ei diwedd a hynny er fod ffigyrau gwylio'r rhagleni yn gymharol uchel. Mae'n debygol iawn fydd pethau'n gwaethygu hyn yn oed yn fwy pan wneith y diawl araf, Paul Thorburn gymryd drosodd. A new TV station is to be created in the near future - Chase the Egg TV that will be produced by BBC Wales - a channel obsessed with this extremely boring sport. This came after the decision of the nepotistic organisation to turn their backs on Welsh Football. Considering that the battle for chief of sport at BBC Wales is one fought between ex chase the egg internationals it is small wonder that they have acted in such a way. It was only luck that the previous boss Arthur Emyr - ex-presenter of football show Sgorio, had some interest in the international game (that is, not some game played almost exclusively within the English Empire by some toffs.) BBC Wales have refused to produce another series of Gôl - the only show that gave more than the 30 seconds afforded to the League of Wales on news shows and the terrible Wales on Saturday (a programme filmed in Cardiff to give us results from the English premiership). Of course, the BBC through the contract that gives them exclusive rights to show League of Wales matches have made sure that no one else can make any use of the costly gantries that League of Wales clubs have been forced to erect.

This decision to axe (and prevent) any coverage to the League of Wales is something that will surely distinguish any hope of gaining a sponsor for the league and also the prospect of any future contracts such as the one between TNS and Llansanffraid. This will create a similar situation to that existing regarding Radio rights where the BBC has decided to give next to no coverage of the League of Wales, and have prevented Radio Ceredigion from covering matches. The BBC has decided to cut severely the prize money for the 'Premier Cup' that is likely to spell the end for the competition although the viewing figures have proved to be sufficiently high. It's likely that things will get even worse when speed merchant, Paul Thorburn takes over. (Can I take this opportunity to thank Abbandonato for highlighting the BBC's disgracefull decision.)
