Does dim angen term Cymraeg am bobl sy' isio bo'n Saeson.

 
Does 'na'm llawer o bobl yn condemnio'r "glory hunters" 'ma sydd yn llenwi'r bysus bob dydd Sadwrn i deithio i gemau yn "Lifyrpool" neu Man Iw. A'r rheswm syml am hynny ydi bod mwyafrif cefnogwyr Peldoed yng Nghymru yn euog o wneud hyn. Bobl fel Dylan Jones ar ei "raglen" ar Radio Cymru yn gwneud dim ond son am be ma Leeds yn gneud. Wedyn mae o'n cal dipyn o'r "glory hunters" yma mlaen ar ei raglen i gyfeirio at y timau seisnig yma fel "ni" a son fel fod ganddynt ryw wybodaeth mewnol ar y timau ma.

Dwi wedi cael llond bol ar y bobl ma sy'n gofyn "Ond pwy ydi'ch tim iawn chi" pan ydach chi'n deud eich bod yn cefnogi tim yng Nghymru. A mae hyd yn oed cenedlaetholwyr yn disgyn i mewn i'r twll yma o deimlo agosatrwydd at ryw dimau o ddinasoedd Seisnig. Bobl fel Huw Ceredig - Reg Harries o "Bobl y Cwm" a brawd Dafydd Iwan. Mae o a'i ffrindiau sy'n dilyn yr Eisteddfod yn brolio perfformiadau y timau yma a'r Saeson sy'n chwarae iddynt - ryw Peredyrs ap Prydderch.

Y cwestiwn ydi - sut allith y bobl yma wrthwynebu eu harwyr o'r timau Seisnig yma pan mae nw'n chwarae i Loegr? Os ydi Beckham yn arwr pan mae o'n chwarae i Man Iw ag yn cynrychioli Lloegr yn y "Champions League" - sut allwch chi ei gasau pan mae o'n chwarae i'w wlad? Y gwir amdani yw - mae'n hollol amhosib.

Dadl y bobl yma ydi fod safon Cynghriar Cymru yn llawer rhy isel iddynt iselhau eu hunain i edrych arnynt. Gwir, mae "Yr Uwch Gynghriar" yn gynghrair sydd yn amlwg yn llawer uwch ei safon - byddai'n amhosib dadlau yn erbyn hynny. Ond, mae'r un yn sicr yn wir am ein tim cenedlaethol ni mewn cymhariaeth a Lloegr. Ac am yr rheswm hwnnw mae nifer o "Gymry" yn cefnogi tim Lloegr. Ond ni fyddai hyn yn beth cyffredinnol ymysg "Glory Hunters" sydd yn ddilynwyr cyson o dim Cymru.

Yn ôl ystadegau UEFA, mae Cynghriar Cymru yn agosach i Gynghrair Lloegr nag ydi tim Cenedlaethol Cymru at Lloegr.

 You don't hear to many people condeming these "golry hunters" who fill the buses every Saturday to travel to the Liverpool and Man U games. And the simple reason for that is the fact that the majority of Football Supporters in Wales are guilty of this. These are people like Dylan Jones who does nothing on his "programme" on Radio Cymru but talk about Leeds. The he gets some of these "golry hunters" on his programme to talk about these English teams, refering to them as "us" and act as if they have some inside information.

I've had enough of these people who ask you "But who is you're real team " when you say that you support a team in Wales. And even Nationalists fall into this hole of feeling an afinity towards teams from English City's. People like Huw Ceredig - Reg Harries from "Bobl y Cwm" and brother of Dafydd Iwan. He, and his Eisteddfod following mates sing the prases of these teams and the Englishmen that play for them - people with names like Peredyr ap Prydderch.

The question is, how can these people oppose their heroes from English teams when they play for England? If David Beckham is a hero when he plays for Man U and reperesenting England in the "Champions League" - how can you hate him when he plays for his country? The truth is - it is completely impossible.

The arguement of these people is that the standard of the League of Wales is far to low for them to lower themselves to watch. True, the Premiership is obviously far higher it's standard - no one would argue against that. But, the same is evidently clear about our national team in comparrison with England. And for that reason many "Welshmen" support the England team. But this is not a general attitude amongst "Glory Hunters" who are regular followers of the Welsh team.

According to the statistics of UEFA, the League of Wales is closer to the English league than the national team is to England.
