Yr un hen Stori / Same old stroy. |

Dwi'n gwbod bod hyn yn dechra mynd i swnio fel rhyw fath o diwn gron - bob tro Mae Cymru yn chwarae ar yr un pryd a'r Saeson, mae'r run peth yn digwydd. Mae'r cyfryngau Prydeinig (/Seisnig) yn anwybyddu bodolaeth gem Cymru. Ag os ydach chi'n cwyno, gewch chi bob amser yr un ymateb gan y BBC a'r gweddill - does dim amser i ffitio pob peth i mewn i'r bwletin gan fod yr amser yn brin felly mae'n rhaid cymryd penderfynniad golygyddol. Wrth gwrs, y tro yma eu dadl gref yw mai hon yw'r gem olaf Lloegr yn Wembley, felly bod Lloegr yn haeddu llond trol o sylw hyd yn oed os yw'r tim yn wirioneddol warthus. Ond mae papurau racsyn Lloegr hyd yn oed yn waeth na'u cyfryngau teledu. Cymrwch rhufyn dydd Sadwrn y gem o'r Daily Mail. Mor bwysig oedd gem tim tila Kevin Keegan fel fod y golygydd wedi cymryd penderfynniad golygyddol o roi 6 tudalen i arwyr y 3 Llew, mewn cymhariaeth a prin chwarter tudalen i ddynion y Ddraig Goch. Mi fyddwn yn eich cynghori o yru eich cwynion yn syth at y BBC yn Llundain (vlc@bbc.co.uk). Ond oes wir pwrpas gwneud, dwi'n clywed chi'n gofyn. Wel, rydych eisioes yn gwybod beth fydd eu hymateb parod, hyd yn oed cyn rhoi pen i bapur. Ond beth am sefyllfa'r Alban? Wrth gwyno bob tro mae eu tim hwy yn cael eu hanwybyddu, maen't wedi llwyddo yn araf bach i wella pethau. Felly mae'n bosib mae'r peth gorau i ni wneud yw i ddilyn eu esiampl hwy. |
I know it's starting to sound like the record has stuck as, time after time, we draw attention to the way Wales have been ignored in favour of England on an International football weekend. But the British (/English) press have done it again - ignoring the fact that Wales are playing. But if you complain you will always receive the same answers from the BBC and their sort - they have had to take an editorial decision because there is no time to fit in reports on all the teams. Of course their arguement for taking a decision that yet again found in favour of England was that this was the last game underneath the twin-towers. England therefore deserve all the attention in the World - even if they are as poor as ever. But England's rag press are even worse than their television counterparts. Take, for example, the Daily Mail on the Saturday of the Norway match. So important were the exploits of Kevin Keegan's week side that the editor took the decision to afford 6 pages to the "heros" of the three Lions, while the men of the dragon only waranted a quater page report. I would agrue that you should complain once again to the BBC (vlc@bbc.co.uk) and their like. But is there really a point I hear you ask. After all, you already know exactly what their ready answer is going to be. But what about the Scotish situation? Through complaining every time mention is omitted to their team they have managed to slowly change things. So it's possible that the best decision for us to take is to follow their lead. |
