Hi,
We are exploring the north west part of Geneva today, using our Pass and the map of public transport links to reach our destinations. We wanted to cross to another road, and thought there would be a back exit to the Cemetery. No! So we walked back, and found this specimen tree.
May God smile on you today,
Elizabeth

The close look at this tree shows no cones, unlike the tree we later encountered at the Botanical Gardens, with these stately cones.

Traffic is a problem, as this intersection shows. The Lolly-Pop lady has paddles to help her show permission to cross.

This small being was leaving 'home', the lawn, and may not know that the pebbles were there for the benefit of cars.

This Chateau is called a Museum for Swiss who left home, and the publicity mentioned Swiss Doctors who went abroad. So we decided to see if Severinus was given his important place. It finished up with us leaving a note of our web address for the Guscetti family.

The Chateau de Penthes is located in parkland which extends to Lake Lecan.
|
The notice is in four languages, 'Please makea knot into the bag!' This sign was on the top of a rubbish bin, and is referring to collecting dog droppings. Pink flamingos were a surprise.

The beautiful views also challenged the camera. Stuart lives in this converted farmhouse.
