Welcome to the home page for RGSS scripts designed by mewsterus. The main thing you may notice about these scripts is that they are MODULAR. That means that you must install each seperate script for each special feature you want in your CMS or other script.

w00t. Peripheral menu improvement is now online. Come on, the screens are just awesome! Screens. I found RPGAdvocate's script, and his other hidden ones. I ended up editing it a whole lot and really the biggest thing I got from him was the optimization script. And I would have figured out how to do that myself anyway...eventually. OK, so if he hadn't made it, I would have just kept the initial layout for the equip screen. But you have to admit, that thing is just bitchun now. It was the single longest part of the project, and I couldn't even get some things to work, so I just took them out alltogether before releasing the script so I could. But while finishing that up, I ended up doing the save scene as part of it, and since it's related to the load scene I just released that seperate as a new IMPROVED "Reload" script. w00t. I only made it do something I had wanted somebody else to do at one point, but for some reason nobody took up the challenge, so here I am many months later with scripting knowledge releasing it myself. Again, w00t.
MONDAY MAY 30 2005
Alright, now I've got all the scripts up...almost all. The item division script is still in progress. But that's just because I can't find the original script for RPGAdvocate's advanced equip screen, and I don't want to add yet more editing to that which I have to do to animate, transperify, and redraw window images. So I'll get on it after I've got working demos and screenshots for all of them. I can get screenshots of the other parts of the improved peripherals, but that doesn't include the amazingness of the animations in them. I do like the status screen though. Many thanks to Diego at RMXP.net for the elemental resistance circle, I did after all need something to fill that extra space. The real star, however, was the animation involved in the item and skill screens (and the equip screen to be). I won't ruin the surprise, however...you'll just have to see for yourself!

The archives have been saved and the site redirected! If you want to see the archives, just look here. Obviously this site was intended originally to showcase RPGs, however since I still have not worked on any of them, I have been forced to clear out the old. Right now, no scripts are in. Soon, however, I will post finalized versions of 2 CMS scripts, a face graphic addition script, a peripheral menu upgrade script, a location window script, and the cogwheel hp/sp/exp bars script.
Important to note is how these scripts work. All instructions for script installation are within the .txt document linked from the scripts section. For the most part, installation will be limited to simply adding the script to a new script section in the code editor. Instructions for RPG Maker XP are included in the Help section.
Although I do not OFFICIALLY make scripts compatible with other scripts, under some circumstances I may make script recommendations. Some scripts may be posted with credits given for people other than myself, if so please give them credit as well. Remember to give me credit too :p! I will NEVER post a script that was written by someone else in an unedited form unless it is very small and required for my script to work. And the cogwheel script is included only because I wouldn't know where to find it otherwise.
All scripts should be compatible with all other scripts. If you are getting a new script, you may need to update the script it modifies. I will soon post a version of the DMS (default menu system) that is compatible with all of my scripts, but I have to make that. Remember that if your script is not working after adding a script recently added to the website, it may be because you do not have the most updated version of the base script. Please update your scripts before asking for help.
With that said, I hope that this will be a good journey. I'll try to get forums set up if I can move this off of Geocities..
