Introduction to the Mewthree Zone

Mwa ha ha ha, baby...
Hello, and Welcome to the Mewthree Zone, our evil haven on the world wide web.  Where you are provided with a look into the world of Mewthree, along with information, downloads, artwork, fanfiction, other things, but just that wonderful break from reality until everyone can share...MY VISON...of the UNIVERSE! Can you dig it?!?!
History

The main inspiration to create my website was viewing a webpage on Maxpages that goes by "Mewthree's Lair" (http://www.maxpages.com/mew3slair).
I began my work by first creating a webpage on Maxpages in December of 2000.  At the time, I thought it was achievement enough just to have a website.  The page was created during my computer programming class during my sophomore year in high school.  My friend who was also in the class, helped as well.  In fact, he's the one who came up with the name for the site; which of course is: The Mewthree Zone.  Not all of the resources were checked yet with maxpages for putting in a backround (I wanted to put in a pokémon related backround like most of the other pokémon websites I had seen),  so at the last few minutes of the class, we just selected a dark blue swirl pattern to use as the backround.  Yes, this is the origin of the blue swirl pattern wallpaper that you see now; I just decided to make this little picture a tradition for the site.  Also, the front picture that we found in the resources was a picture of an Alakazam.  There was a Mewtwo picture, which would be more appropriate, but it really sucked.

This came to mind the realization that I needed to find a better likeness of Mewtwo to use for this picture, or rather come up with a picture of Mewthree.  Of course, this  was a time where most pokéfans have'nt seen Pokémon: The First Movie long enough to convert Mewthree from a fake code to an actual image.  This movie was the inspiration for me, as well as most to expand the concept of a Mewthree (in fact during the movie, one of the scientists can be heard in the conversation of the successful creation of Mewtwo talking about creating a "Mewthree").  The image of Mewthree is of course, an altered version of Mewtwo; just with different coloring and new stuff on it.  From a collection of fanfiction I read, this was the concept as well, but also where some things that I prefered would be important factors in my version of Mewthree; like having sharp teeth, wings, and of course a different coloring.  Another thing that most concepts of Mewthree shared was that it is evil;  since Mew is similar to a happy carefree child, and Mewtwo shows deep thoughts and emotions a sort of angst, if you will, An evil counterpart to these predecessing pokémon would be an evil and maniacal pokémon.  With my own concept and early image of Mewthree, I felt I had made a big step in the progress of the Mewthree Zone.  With the releasing of the gold and silver versions of pokémon for gameboy/gameboy color, came the final parts of the concept; because of the newly introduced dark-type pokémon came the element type for Mewthree.  Because before this new type came around, the preferred type for M3 for most was a combination psychic and fighting type (Even though my Mewthree is a psychic/dark, it still retains some of its fighting type history).

By May of 2001,  I found that using Maxpages just wasn't working the way I wanted.  It was really a site that required a lot of HTML coding just to make it look decent, had limited filespace, and really lacked in different options.  Then I used Geocities, after finding out that this service came with my Yahoo e-mail account.  And from this point, my vison began to take shape; my M3Z.

In the summer of 2001, I got hooked on the blue bomber himself, Megaman.  This gave me new concepts to use, such as adding related material in my site, Coming up with my own robot masters, Mewthree's base, and of course, the "3" insignia.  The base came from (and still looks mostly like (why mess with perfection?)) Megaman 6 (NES); Mr. X's castle.  The next idea that had arisen was giving Mewthree some sort of sign, or insignia.  So I used the number three made it green, and the rest as they say, is history.
