| Following the disasterous season from Kordell Stewart, and an injury to veteran Chris Chandler lead to his departure, the Bears found themselves in a bit of a bind at quarterback. They were now left with Rex Grossman and several young prospects. However, as Grossman finished out the '03 campaign, the new coaching staff became very impressed with Grossman and his ability. Now, Grossman finds himself at number one on the depth chart with draft picks Craig Krenzel and Ryan Dinwiddie competing for the back up position. It appears that Rex Grossman will infact begin the season as the Bears starting signal caller. |
