| Minnesota Wild head coach Jaques Lemaire announced Monday that C Jim Dowd will serve as team captain for the month of February while C RW Richard Park and LW Andrew Brunette will continue to serve as alternate captains. |

| Once again the Minnesota Wild failed to beat the Calgary Flames this season. Sergei Zholtok notched the only goal for the Wild in the 2-1 loss Sunday afternoon. Dwayne Roloson started his 8th consecutive game, a career high for Rollie. The Flames were propelled by power play goals from Jarome Iginla and Robyn Regehr. The Wild face a very tough New Jersey Devils club Tuesday Night at the Meadowlands/ Continental Airlines Arena. |
