Home		 Today, Robbie Slams Cub Reliever Antonio Alfonseca
  Antonio Alfonseca has done nothing but cost the Cubs games over the last month or so.  It has been horrible to watch.  I can't stand watching the Cubs games unless we are ahead 4+ runs and sometimes that's not even enough......Matt Clement up until Wednesday night was the biggest bust along with Alfonseca...Donrelle Willis is           9-1......Clement, 6-7 and Alfonseca has blown so many saves that I can't even think about it anymore.  To Cubs G.M., if he deserves to be called that...he needs to be fired.... sure he has brought in Alou and has a chance to get Mike Lowell from Florida.  I think now is the time, SEND ALFONSECA AND CLEMENT TO FLORIDA FOR LOWELL. Or send Alfonseca to freaking Japan for someone who doesn't blow saves.

         HEY HEY!!!
            Now for a sport that people don't know about. Well, I'm sure you all know something about it. Most people probably think it's a joke or dumb (before you sacrifice me in the sake of the XFL or your Sunday Afternoon church flag football league you think is better, listen). How can you beat the fact that you have a 50 yard field with 7 on 7 action? It's one of the most interesting and fun types of games to watch. There are 16 teams and 12 who make the playoffs....TOO MANY!! I wish I could talk to the commish on that. There should be about 6 in at the most for playoff births. There are only 6 teams capable of winning Arena Bowl each and every year (Tampa, Grand Rapids, Orlando, Arizona, San Jose, and Georgia). All the rest of the teams are just fighting to make one of the final playoff spot
              This weekend, you have to watch the Arena Bowl's Final Four, the Tampa Bay Storm vs. the Orlando Predators and the Arizona Rattlers vs, the San Jose Sabercats. Check out the fastest game on earth. *By the way, you folks in St. Louis who say "Who cares, there isn't a team near me," don't worry. If you support it enough, start a movement, and you may be awarded expansion. The New Orleans VooDoo begin play next year. Future expansion can't be far off.

Sammy, what the hell were you thinking? I just can't get over this. I wake up this morning and turn on Sports Center just like every day, now expecting to hear of Sammy's 0-5, 4 k performance like he has the past few games, but to my surprise, he hadn't. Instead the Cubs "Slammin' Sammy" has been hit up for having a corked bat.....Now, before i "Uncork" on him, i would like to say this. I believe Sammy Sosa is human and made an honest mistake. Hell, we all make 'em. I make 'em quite a bit. I've probably made 5 while typing this column. But to cork any bat is stupid. If the fans want to see you hit a homer off of some fat 50 year old batting coach in B.P., they should have to pay and then leave. I'd rather have Sammy go 0-4 with a real bat and not hit anything in B.P. then to see him hit the ball 600 ft. with a corked bat in B.P. Again, the Cubs find themselves struggling to keep afloat in 1st place in the central, and I promise you all.....this will be the last Cub column i write for awhile. Go Cubs, and Go Sammy.......
