here you'll find a little taste of what i do when i'm not writing proofs or parodies. several of the essays were written during the summer of 1996, when i was interning in Washington, D.C. a few pieces were written during the summer of 1997, when i was (supposedly) working in Boston. of the rest, some are from years ago, some are quite recent. new stuff gets added when i get inspired enough to type it in...

"nothing is so good it lasts eternally..." time heals all non-mortal wounds, so this list is not quite as complete as it once was. all it means is that some of the old hurts have faded, and i don't need to cling to long-forgotten pain. or even recent pain. so if you don't see what you're looking for at first glance, poke around a bit and maybe you'll find something else just as intriguing.

if you do find something that strikes your fancy - either a good strike or a bad strike, so long as it's not an indifferent strike - please mail me and let me know. i'd love to hear from you.
