Production Village Scène présente tranie tronic dans un spectacle à minuit le 30 octobre au Station C. Son drame musical présenté dans le Festival de Théatre International G. L. B. T. de Montréal s'intitule ‘tranie tronic’.
Mon nom est tranie tronic, donnez moi du supersonique! Savez-vous ce que je veux savoir? Pouvez-vous allez ou je veux aller?
tranie tronic, embrasée et brutalement honnête, épanche les secrets de son coeur et de sa libido pour votre plaisir. Sa performence est enrichie par les tounes (or musiques) électroniques des musiciens Steve Orton et Annabelle Chovostec.
L'artiste:
Né au Pakistan, Atif Siddiqi a fait ses études en stylisme à Los Angeles et en production et actorat à Montréal où il vit actuellement. Ses vidéos et ses performances combinent des elements du monde audiovisuel et de la mode et ont fait le tour du monde.
Les thèmes de ses travaux les plus récents ont trait à l'identité, à la politique des genres et aux notions de transformation personnelle et de métamorphose en intégrant les symbolismes et les iconographies de la mythologie. Son dernier documentaire expérimental, Solo, est d'abord un guide afin de trouver l'homme idéal, mais aussi et surtout une quête de soi qui a trait à ses luttes en tant qu'homosexuel.

Village Scene Productions presents tranie tronic in a midnight show on October 30 at Station C. This current musical persona called tranie tronic will perform at The Montreal G.L.B.T. International Theatre Festival.
“My name is tranie tronic, get me some super sonic! Do you know what I wanna know? Can you go where I wanna go?”
The brazen and brutally honest tranie tronic spills the secrets of her heart and libido for your pleasure. Her live performance is backed by the electronic tracks of musicians Steve Orton and Annabelle Chovostec.
The artist:
Born in Pakistan, Atif Siddiqi studied fashion design in Los Angeles and video production and performance in Montreal where he currently lives. His performances and videos combine elements of the audiovisual arts with fashion, and have toured internationally.
His most recent works revolve around identity issues, gender politics and notions of personal transformation and metamorphosis by incorporating elements of symbolism and iconography from mythology. His last long form experimental documentary, Solo, is both a tongue-in-cheek ‘How-to guide to finding Mr. Right’ and a record of self-discovery that touches upon his personal struggles as a gay man.
