We'd like introducing our newest Phenom, Shari, and her husband Harry. Each month for the last 15 years Shari has been experiencing 4 or 5 days of pain. The condition is called endometriosis.
The name endometriosis comes the word "endometrium" which is the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus. If a woman, in our case "Shari", is not pregnant, this tissue builds up and is shed each month when she (Shari) has her period. Shari sees her personal doctor each month and like all women with "endometriosis", she looks forward to brighter days in the future filled with family, friends, and acquaintances.
Sharis' gynecologist, Doctor D, foresees brighter days in the future for Shari and her "endometriosis" friends
