My Friend

No matter were I am,

No matter what I do,

My thoughts are of the happy times,

That I have spent with you.

So many special moments,

Together we have shared,

I think about them every day,

No others can be compared.

So many people share our lives,

And teach us what to do,

But all the good things that I know,

Where taught to me by You.

So I thought I'd write and tell you,

Just to let you know it's true,

The most happy times I've ever had,

Were the ones I spent with You.
