In the wake of the release of
“Matrix Revolutions,” an extended chat, with Calvin, Geoff, Chris and
Peter, about this science fiction trilogy and the nature of the ‘onion’
film theory. On the surface, the Matrix pictures can be seen as
action/science fiction films. However, they are also deeply layered

discussion of Stanley Kubrick’s oeuvre ensued
(the ultimate onion filmmaker) as well as films by Terry Gilliam.
