Fushigi Yuugi(Mysterious Play), is one of the most beautiful love stories of all time. It makes you laugh, cry and hate Pioneer for cutting the video off at a good part. Fushigi Yuugi is 52 episodes. And two OVAs. The first OVA has 3 eps. And the second has 6. The manga(comic book) has 18 volumes. And the wonderful creator of Fy is...Yuu Watase. (^.^ Arigato Watase-sama for Fy!)You have got to see the whole series through including the OVAs, or you'll miss out on the greatest romance anime in the world!

The series is released by Pioneer. Each video costs $30 for subtitled(they keep the original jappanese voices and have english translations on the bottom) or dubbed($25) which the voices are in English. All the videos I have are dubbed since I'm I'm not made out of money. (Maybe Hotohori-sama will lend me some $.$) the OVAs is continuing where the series left off. The series is the first 13 volumes of the manga. And the OVAs are the last 5. The OVAs are not commercialy released so you can only get them through fansubs, which are subtitled for fans by fans( Does anyone know a good fansubber? I want to see the rest of the OVAs!!!)
The music is very good and I would recommend buying the cds. I have info on cds here CD INFORMATION There is also tons of merchandise. Letsee. 2 artbooks! They are so pretty. Uhm poker cards with different pictures on them. Cards. I'll scan mine someday. Videos of course. The manga was realeased in the U.S in english.(cool!) Right now there are only the first two graphic novels out. Oh yeah and the videos when they are first released come with a card. (That is in the US released by Pioneer.)
