Makino: You're not going to go through with it.

Doumyoji: Yes, I will.

Makino: You won't last.

Doumyoji: (big sigh) I will, you'll see. (turns to her) Look, I'm going to do it no matter what you say. I'm going to go see my room, now.

(Makino follows him into the apartment)

Lina: (gazing out of the window of a restaurant) Look at those people, Gourry.

Gourry: (drying a glass cup with a dish towel) Looks like we're going to have some new people coming in,

Lina.

Lina: (smirks) Yup…and where there's people, there's money. (moves away from the window) C'mon, we have to make a list.

Gourry: List?

Lina: Supplies.

Gourry: Oh, ok. Just don't eat them before the customers start pouring in. Remember that last time…?

Lina: (annoyed) As if you'll let me forget… geez!

Kaoru: I saw some young people on my way here. I think they are renting some of the rooms in that apartment right next to us.

Kenshin: Oro? Lina-dono and Gourry-dono are going to be happy.

Kaoru: Yeah.

Kenshin: Maybe we can meet them later after they've settled in.

Kaoru: That's a good idea. (Brightens) Oh, what if we invite them over and I'll cook dinner?!

Kenshin: (pales and chuckles nervously)
