I made this page because I often get asked about my husband. I guess I didn't mention him much in my other pages..LOL Well, Chris and I met in High School. I was born and raised in this town but Chris moved here in His 10th grade. I knew him but did not like him much, I was dating one of his friends and he seemed like too much of a "Bad Boy" for me. Well in my 4th year of High School I was sent to a different school in the beginning of October. What I didn't know was that Chris had been sent there the month before. In my computer programming class I was paired up with Chris because my teacher knew we were from the same school. I was NOT happy with this, but we started talking and got to be close. Then on October 25th we went on our first date.We had so much fun and started dating regularly. In the Spring of the next year I found out I was pregnant. While he was 18 I was only 17. We were so in Love but very scared. We decided to get married after I turned 18. Well on October 25,1993 we got married, exactly 1 year to the day that we started dating. Then just 2 months later our lives changed for ever. We had our first daughter on December 21st ............and she died just 8 days later. My doctor and nurses were responsible for her death, we sued them and won. (Please read Vanessa's story on her page) Then when I went in for my 6 week check up after having Vanessa I found out we were expecting again. Alexis was born just 9 months and 3 weeks after her sister. Then 15 months after that we welcomed our first son, Trenton....13 months after him, Gavin came along.
Through it all we have remained strong despite our many heartaches including me being diagnosed with kidney disease. I am currently in ESRD (end stage renal disease) but fighting it with all I have.
So many said we'd never make it,
most our age never do,
but with our love everlasting ,
we will make it through
