Player Profile - Erick Strickland

Here is my recent thought of the player:

2002/3 season: It's nice to see him doing well in Indiana!

I really did not see enough games of Erick Strickland. I liked his defense, but I'm not so sure about his offense within the limited number of the games I saw. His body is not made for the basketball, but fit for other sports as well. As he is good in football and baseball, all these trainings must have built all these muscles where you don't see in a basketball player. I'm wondering if that was all + "plus"  in terms of basketball career.

Here are my past comments of the player:

The more games I watch, I really like the way he plays. With Erick Strickland joining the Grizz recently for the trade of Othella, I really like the way these two are playing very physical games.
NBA seems to think all or the majority of the fans love to watch the fancy plays of the Kobe and Jason, but they don’t seem to be aware of the fans like me who like to watch the very physical and defensive skilled plays.

Maybe the NBA executives and their marketing people think we are more ignorant than what we are.
For sure these fancy plays will make the extra frills of the games and brings up the energy from the crowd, but overall that won’t last too long.
The true fans, at least to me, the true fans are not for only that kind of plays.
