Player Profile - Ike Austin

Here are my comments on the player. I don't write any negative comments on the net.

When I first found out the 4 to 1 trade which I still comfortable writing the names down, I was very sad to be honest. I liked Cherokee and I really liked Felipe. I thought Felipe can do way more than what he did here.

He just didn't have the right teacher and the system and the time to learn, I thought. Anyway, so here comes Ike.

He is funny and seems to be taking care of the Rookies like little brothers. He could be a good assistant coach in the future, but for now we need him to be a competitive center.

I like his personality, but I'm yet to see how he can improve the inside play.

Now in the middle of the November, 2000 season. He was shooting very well a few games ago, then went very cold/slump for a while and today he was shooting a little better.  I wonder is his knee is bothering him much.  When he runs sometimes, I could feel the pain...
