Player Profile - Michael Dickerson
2003 season: He is now retired from NBA. If anyone knows how he is doing, please let me know =)
2002-3 season: It's heart breaking to see him back on IL for the rest of the season again. I believe his next season has to be better!!
Recently there was a rumor about a trade for Penny, but Grizz denied. The team also said there aren't too many good FA players right now. Maybe not the FA they can afford. I hope Mike is traded to Seattle or GS.
Here are my past comments on Mike D.
As of now, Nov. 2000, he is on injury list. We do need his offensive skills badly. I hope his ankle injury gets better soon.
He has no expression on court, I thought. Very emotionless, I
thought first. But I went to all the home games except 1 in February for the 1999-2000 season and now I know he is a
hard fought warrior. He has a fire inside his body all covered up by his mask.
I love his jump shots. I have never seen anyone who shoots from such a
beautiful posture as if he is pasted on the air.
When his second finger goes up by 2 inches toward the other Mike and makes that
Arizona connection, it makes my day.
Probably the trade from Houston to Vancouver was shocking for him, but I'm
one of the very happy fans to be able to see him play here.
If the team management fails to resign him after the 2000 season, I'll be very disappointed.
By the way he looks much better with a smile.
