glastonbury festival

135,000 tickets to Glastonbury Festival sold in less than 2 hours this weekend. Predictably, the overloading of the phone and web systems reduced the whole process to a lottery ...

I didn't even try, though. Have been once and really enjoyed the experience of landing on a different planet (it takes a long time to reacclimatize afterwards, I can tell you!), but since then I have become increasingly fed up with the 3/4 male line-up of the festival (while 3/4 of my musical favourites tend to be female). But you never know. As the line-up isn't released until June, this could be the year when women take over the pyramid stage ...
