I guess there comes a time in everybody's life when the advance in technology just whizzes past you and you're left standing and wondering whether you've just entered Harry Potter's world.

I mean, I'd like to think that if I put my mind to it, I could understand how a car works, or a CD player. But I've just used a USB stick for the first time, and for the life of me I cannot imagine where they have hidden the 2 gigs storage space in that little key fob, not to mention the drive that reads them.

Next thing we know, they'll be selling portkeys and magic wands ...
