Nothing wildly exciting today, but  here's something that I've followed with mild amusement, namely the story of how Brian May, guitarist of Queen, remembered his astronomy studies (apparently he quit his PhD only a matter of days before he could have finished it) and created a popular astronomy book with the idol of his youth, TV astronomer Patrick Moore.
