Inspired by the good people at Small
Layout Design I embarked on a small railway to fit into the keyboard
tray which I never use for the keyboard. Here is the progress so far.
Pink packing foam was glued to a 3mm plywood baseboard.
As green was the only spray paint on hand this left little choice.
Track glued in place and then a quick test run.
The whole things runs very happily from a standard 9 volt battery so no fancy wiring was required for this one.
As you can see only the smallest 0-4-0 will negotiate the very tight curves along with small 4 wheel trucks.
