Last week we had the gypsy jazz group The Hot Club of San Francisco for a performance at Mississippi State as part of our Lyceum Series. The guys were generous enough on the day of their concert to spend some time with a few of my guitar majors giving them an introduction to the gypsy jazz style. If you aren't familiar with this music, just do a google search for Django Reinhardt or The Hot Club of San Francisco. The workshop was a lot of fun for all of us, and we all learned a lot.
