Moses died at the age of 91. He married Dianah at the age of 20.

From the family records of Kurt Otto Shelle, Jr:
Moses was the inventor of the vertical mill.

The 1790 Census of Guilford Co., North Carolina lists a Moses Sr. Mendinghall with one white male under the age of 16 and 2 white females in his household. [Ruddick.ged]

They resided near Deep River, Guilford, North Carolina.
