Adrian Leger (1631-1661)
The son of Louis Leger and Perrette Lacaille from Sainte-Marguerite-du-Duelair, archdiocese of Rouen in Normandy, he agreed to marry Catherine Lethier before the notary Basset on Wednesday October 29, 1659. She is the daughter of the late master painter Adrien Lothier and of Anne Desdaines, from the parish of Saint-Sulpice de Paris. The wed in Montreal on November 25, 1659. They had one child together. Before coming to Canada, he lived in Saint-Germain d'Arce, bishopric region of Angers er Anjou. He received a land concessionin Montreal on November 18, 1657. He married in 1659 and died in 1661, or January 11, killed by the fall from a tree. He was buried the next day.
