The information on Marcot, Arthus Marcotte,Andieu Marcotte, and Nicolas Marco tte was taken from the
http//faculty-staff.ou.edu/M/Michael.L.Marcotte-1/thez e.html and was researched by Dominique Rene' Theze, of LeMans, France. Suppor ting source documentation exists in the archives of Library of the Hotel de V ille de Fecamp (not the Hotel de Ville regular archives sector, rather the former library of Fathers Abbots of the Abbey of Fecamp). He died in Fecamp and was buried in the cermetery of St. Leger. Andrieu Marcotte is first found in the same archi ves, St. Leger registry, at the baptism of his infant daughter, Marion, on Jan. 6, 1580. The reference is GG E27, folio19,recto, act 2. Nicolas' burial is referenced as 12 aug. 1642, GG E29, folio 37, recto, act 9.
