Notes for Johanna Woulfe

Johanna was born in 1863 in County Cork, Ireland (possibly near Athea), and came to the U.S. at the age of 15, before she met Richard Colbert. Johanna Wolfe's mother's maiden name was McAuliff. One of Johanna's sisters was Molly Woulfe. Molly's first husband was William Keating, and their children were Katie Keating and William Keating. Molly's first husband died. Her second husband was Pat O'Donnell. Johanna had another sister, Kate Woulfe who married Tom Hennessy. They had five children; Louise, Edward, John, George, and William. Johnanna had a brother named Patrick (Patty) Woulfe. He used to make beer during the alcohol prohibition. Not sure who Patrick was married to, but they had two children, Catherine (married Ralph Stark) and Dick. Patrick changed the spelling of their last name from Woulfe to Wolf. Gertrude Lorraine Colbert (her granddaughter) remembers that all of the grandchildren called Johanna, "Gaga".
