| This is the house on Railroad Street, which Martin Martinson rented from the railroad company for $1.00 per year. The Marks family occupied the house until late in the 1960's. This watercolor painting was done in 1947 by Chicago artist Fred Linn, a cousin of the Marks family. The house later was destroyed by fire. |
