This page shares some of the humorous and unique aspects of England.

There were a lot of other things I wanted to include on this page, but I didn't think ahead to take pictures of all the signs or the sinks.

  1. motorcyclesCovent Garden cars
These motorcycles and cars are typical of England. The SUV is rare, and all other cars tend to be extremely small and hatchbacks. There is something to be learned from England's more simplistic lifestyle.
  2. doorknob in middle of door
This doorknob is not the only one that is located in the middle of the door. I actually saw quite a few in England...
  3. Dingwall Road
This sign is in London. I thought that it was hilarious. I mean, the road to which it refers is "Dingwall," which is funny enough, but then it gives times that Dingwall Road is open and other info.
  4. 20p to use the toilet
In England, you often have to pay 20 pence to use the "toilet." 20 pence is about 30 cents.
  5. green man crossing
This sign is located at City Centre in Sheffield.
  6. Smart car
This is the funniest looking car I have ever seen. It must be some highly efficient car, which is great, but it is tiny and it looks funny.
  7. Shocker
    children's hippo
These pictures are both from Alton Towers. The Shocker chair is some idea of a fun joke that the English apparently have. It looks just like an electric chair and you can pay money to pretend to be electrocuted. The hippo is another weird humor thing. At the end of this children's ride that strongly resembled "It's a Small World" (only with candy and games instead of a nice theme like uniting the world), this dancing hippo shakes her breasts for the children...
  8. Michelle House
No trip abroad would be complete without finding a Michelle House :-)
