"Gays of Our Lives" - What is it??   These are simply the collected accounts, written and sent in the form of emails, of my growing yet strangely pathetic social life as it's developed and faltered over the last year.  I found it easier to write my overlong musings to everyone I know at once instead of repeating myself endlessly.  Which I do anyway.  But since constantly referring back to people and names which mean little to the readers of these emails can be confusing I took, jokingly to starting each one with a summary of the events from the previous message - much like they do at the begining of cheesy Soap Operas.  Hence the title - which sounded original until I found out it wasn't.  I did change it just before it's demise to Sunset Bitch...but as you'll discover I can't let go of a succesful joke.     What it is not is a Soap Opera.  Nor a comedy...although the amusement my friends found in the original emails was the reason I decided to put them on the net.  Everything in it is a factual if unecessarily cruel description of the people and events in my life.  You will not find this difficult to believe since not a lot happens.  But you may be tickled here and there.  Especially there.  The only falsehood is the name Gattino - which is simply Italian for kitten and my attempt to be discrete about my identity on the net (I have shown no such consideration to the identities of my friends) - oh and the notion that Lesbians all have moustaches is also open for debate.   Where there are two titles for each "story" in the index the first was the email subject heading, the second the title of the "episode".   There is a regular cast of personalities in GOOL and two of them have their own websites if you care to check them out:   Ben of Chester  can be found at http://members.aol.com/rivercaves   Attila, sometimes referred to in these pages as Dr Hunk Rockly has a whole temple dedicated to himself at: http://web.onetel.net.uk/~attila/     Home
