Lesson 7: Numbers; Interjections; Verbs: Subjunctive & other stuff

NUMBRES

The numbers in Pacarian are all formed regularly. The rules are very easy.

From "Grammatique Pacariane":

In Pacarian, there are cardinal and ordinal numbers. Cardinal numbers are very easy to form. from zero to ten: zero, une, do ,tre, quatre, cinque, size, septe, octe, nove, dize

to form a number: 256

2 => 100 is cente: 200 is docente

5 => 10 is dize: 50 is cinquedize

6 => size

=> docente cinquedize size

  also: 1000 => mille

          10000 => dizemille

          100000 => centemille

          1000000=> millione

          10000000=> dizemillione

           and so on…

The ordinal numbers: number + yame

256yr = docente cinquedize sizeyame

That's all you need to know!

INTERYECCIONES

What's there to tell about interjections...

Interjections are NOT necessarily followed by a comma. It's allowed but not required.

Frequent interjections are:

Don => So,...

Alor, Aste => Well,...

Aixi => Yeah! or Yes; Of course,...

VERBES: CONDICIONALE

The conditional is a tense on its own. It is used to express what would be expressed in English with the auxiliary "would". It is also formed with a stem, mark and endings.The mark is "-RIA-" and passive and perfect are formed as with the past and future tenses.

CONDITIONAL ACTIVE (CONDICIONALE ACTIVO) for the verb PRENDER

1st person singular

-RIA- (for all persons. typically Pacarian.)

none ye prende-ria
2nd person singular -s te prende-ria-s
3rd person singular -s il prende-ria-s
1st person plural -mos nos prende-ria-mos
2nd person plural -tes vos prende-ria-tes
3rd person plural -n illes prende-ria-n
Person Mark Ending this gives

Well there's room for something else isn't there... well, then this is a good time for participles and executors. You know the past participle "participe perfecte" of a verb, (infinitive minus -r); but there is also a present participle "participe presente" (infinitive minus -er plus -ante).

Executors are the persons that "do" a verb. Like for the verb "burgle" => a burglar. In Pacarian these are formed like this: infinite minus -er plus -atore (male) or -atrice (female). And now it's time for a big review!
