Lesson 3: Nouns and adjectives: grammar and vocabulary

GRAMMATIQUE

The plural in Pacarian is always +s. (for substantives and adjectives)

An adjective is placed behind the substantive. It is similar to the substantive it defines. The degrees of comparison are like in Latin, but always regular:

GRANDE           = Adjective

GRANDIORE     = Comparative (adjective minus vowel plus -IORE)

GRANDISSIME  = Superlative (adjective minus vowel plus -ISSIME)

An adjective can be used as a substantive, or eliptical. It can be used as adverb too.
