It seems I am alone, My greatest fear. Yet in my heart, I know you are near. The time came, And you had to go away. For you are with Jesus, Our Lord, today. The memories of you, Stand out clearly in my mind. These I will always cherish, Until the end of time. My love for you, Will never fade or depart. I will always keep you, Close to my heart. In my time of need, You gave me your support. But our times together, Fell oh so short. My love for you, Was never wrong. It is this kind of love, Which keeps your memory strong. Hopefully, someday, Our souls will reunite. Then this loneliness, I will no longer have to fight. So until then, I will say good-by.
