Dear Avalee,

Thank you for your telephone call to us this afternoon regarding the authenticity of certain passages quoted in the published Ellen White books. We appreciate the fact that you took the time to check with our office on this matter, and we are happy to be able to supply you with photocopies of the pages in question.

The two quotations you asked about are found in MM 99-100 and 1SM 172-173.
They are both taken from Manuscript 28, 1904. Enclosed is a photocopy of the actual typewritten manuscript as typed by Ellen White's secretary, D. E. Robinson, on March 11, 1904. His initial is at the end of the document. The original is in our file here in Silver Spring. Photocopies are also available at our branch office at the Loma Linda University Library. The portions quoted in MM and 1SM begin on page 2. If we can be of any additional assistance to you, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Tim Poirier
