This is the Ichiban section of Midorikawa-sama's shrine. In Japanese, ichiban means "number one" or "best." In here, I'll just say a few things, including why I think Midorikawa-sama is the best. Links to other Midorikawa sites are listed at the bottom of the page.
Seiyuu
As a seiyuu, Midorikawa-sama is simply the best! I love all his roles, even when he's casted as a villian! Among Midorikawa-sama's most famous/popular roles are: Heero Yuy (Gundam W), Tamahome (Fushigi Yuugi), and Zelgadis (Slayers). He made Heero sound so emotionless, and his famous line, "Omae wo korosu," WAI! Can't hear that in the American version! By that, I don't mean to say that Mark Hildreth did a bad job with Heero's voice. He was actually pretty good, and Midorikawa-sama thought so too. I'm just saying that Midorikawa-sama did a better job than Mr. Hildreth. ^_^
J-Pop
Aside from being a seiyuu, Midorikawa-sama is also a J-Pop singer. He has released five solo CDs (see CD section), many CDs with the Sotsugyou M seiyuu unit E.M.U, one CD with Fujiwara Keiji, and, so far, one maxi single with Canna Nobutoshi-sama as Zero Pheonix. I think his J-Pop songs are all very good. My favorite song in the world is "Deep Night" from Midorikawa-sama's "Sore wa Kesshite Raku na Michinori Dewa Naidarou" CD. It tells the story of a boy who wants to fly. So sad... ;_; That song makes me want to cry. (And it has. o.o)
What's up with that nasal voice?
Nasal-- sounding like you're talking while pinching your nose. So what if Midorikawa-sama has a nasal voice?! I think it's really cute, and it makes his voice somewhat unique. Most people don't like Midorikawa-sama because of his nasal voice, and say that they hate HIM, while they actually mean they hate his voice. There's a BIG difference there! They hate his voice, not him as a person!! If you haven't heard Midorikawa-sama's nasal tone, I suggest you listen to Sore wa Kesshite Raku na Michinori Dewa Naidarou; the song, not CD. He gets really nasal when saying "dakara." AH... kawaii!! *_* Midorikawa-sama's voice is very easy to spot. You can even tell his voice apart from all other E.M.U members when they sing all together. (Well, at least I can.) He has a very distinctive voice that's hard to miss. Wai~! His screams are cute too! ^_^;; For more info on this, please read the profile page.
Personality
Okay, I haven't actually met Midorikawa-sama, but from what I've heard, he's adorable!!! =D He has a great sense of humor and is very nice. Oh yeah, he has the world's cutest laugh too! You just wanna melt when you hear him laugh. XD However, under all this kindness of his, he's not very fond when people act too friendly and/or act like they know him on a personal level. I suppose it makes him feel uncomfortable. Be careful of what you say to him.
Looks
Just like his personality, Midorikawa-sama is adorable! He makes you want to hug him whenever he smiles. And his earring (on his left ear, if you're wondering) makes him look all the more cooler! I've seen many different pictures of him, and some look much different than others. Heh heh... at least he doesn't have big chompers like Koyasu Takehito-sama. KIDDING! I like Koyasu-sama too! ^_^; All in all, Midorikawa-sama is a living bishounen! =d
Ichiban
Why is Midorikawa-sama the best? It's simple, he just is! LoL. Okay, okay. He's got the voice, the talent, the huggable, loveable personality, AND he's got the looks! What more could you ask for?! This is like the ideal guy for any girl! I say that, but I really only like him as a seiyuu/singer... I think. o.o;; *thinks of Tamahome* So far, yes. ^_~ I am a really really really really REALLY big fan though! =D Okay, I can be very obsessed at times, I admit it. Fine, fine!! I like him, I like him! But I still like Tamahome more. o.o; (Gomen, Midorikawa-sama. I love you too!)
