Episode Twenty-Four (Recap)

Brent expressed to Allan & Trace his intense anger over the changing of the district lines. Despite logical reasoning from Allan & Trace, Brent refused to ever accept any new Midway Academy students and vowed to fight administration until they changed their minds. Not even Eve could keep him from losing his head.

At breakfast, Mel went over to Chantal's table and requested to speak with her privately. After finally getting alone, Mel told Chantal he knows about her home situation. Chantal denied it with everything she was worth, but Mel refused to buy it. Mel told her that he knows about it and is ready to help her. Chantal said she doesn't need or want his help. After a huge back-and-forth debate, they got to the point where Chantal was enraged and ran out of the room. Despite this, Mel still plans on finding out exactly what's going on in the Lowell home.

While Carrie was planning on pulling the plug on Jessica, Melanie arrived. When she noticed what Carrie was doing, Melanie demanded that she stop or else. Carrie ended up pulling the plug, but after a huge catfight, Melanie got her hands on the plug and put new life into Jessica. Carrie, enraged, told Melanie that she will never have a place in the "popular" crowd now, and that she'll never amount to anything at Midway Prep. Melanie finally stood up for herself and told Carrie off and vowed to make sure that Carrie doesn't hurt anyone ever again.
