Fishing Tournament

Registration will be held Friday, June 27th, 2003 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 28th, 2003. Start time will be 8:00 pm on Friday, June 27th, 2003; Finish time will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 29th, 2003. At time of registration, you must show your valid 2003 Pennsylvania Fishing License. If fishing by boat, you will also be required to show a current and valid registration identification card for the boat.
If these licenses are not provided you will not be permitted to participate.
There will be a $25.00 registration fee per person if received before June 26th, 2003. If registration form is received at time of registration, the registration fee will be $30.00.
ALL REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
There will be a meal provided at the Awards Banquet to be held on Sunday, June 29th, 2003 at 6:00 pm at the Mifflin Fire Dept. #2 Annex, Main Street, Mifflin, Pa. There will be a $5.00 per person fee per person not registered in the tournament. You must inform tournament personnel at time of registration of number of persons who will be attending the meal with you.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Musky, Walleye,Small Mouth Bass, Catfish,Carp.
Checkpoints/Weigh Stations will be at June`s Access Area, Old Route 22, West of Mifflintown; Walker Access Area, River Road, Mexico; Muskrat Springs Access Area, Old Route 22, Center; and Thompsontown Access Area, Route 333, Thompsontown.
Each entrant will be given a number. This number will be used to identify you. This number must be displayed at all times and presented each time you check-in/weigh fish. Fish must be alive when brought into the to checkpoint/weigh station.Tournament personnel will accompany you while releasing the fish.
Prizes are awarded for the longest single fish. If a tie persists, the weight of the fish will determine the winner. In a same length, same weight circumstance, the first fish registered will win that place.
There will be food and drinks for sale at each checkpoint/weigh station throughout the weekend.
Daily limits for each category will be as follows: Musky, statewide daily creel limit; Walleye, statewide daily creel limit; Small Mouth Bass, maximum of 4 per day; Carp, maximum of 5 fish per day; and Catfish, maximum of 5 fish per day.
If any participant has any medical/health conditions, please notify tournament personnel at time of registration. Tournament personnel will make a note of the condition. This information will be used for emergency purposes.
ALL Pennsylvania State Fishing and Boating Laws must be followed and/or obeyed.
Registration will be held at any weigh station.
DO NOT THROW GARBAGE INTO THE RIVER OR ALONG THE SHORELINES. ANYONE CAUGHT POLLUTING THE WATERWAYS OR THE SHORELINES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Tournament Personnel will have garbage bins at each checkpoint/weigh station. Please drop off you trash when you stop in to check-in/weigh fish. Tournament personnel will dispose of it.
Prize amounts will be determined by number of entrants.
Prizes will be posted at time of registration.
