My sister Chere! That's me!I was born on the west coast of Canada and grew up in Gold River on Vancouver Island experiencing the best that mother nature could offer.
If you like caving (spelunking) Gold River is the place for you! I now live on one of the southern Gulf islands. A few years after my birth my sister Chere was born and she now lives in Ontario. She will soon be moving to Montreal, Quebec to accept a management position in a clothing store that bears our family name!

Fran and Doria married 1964Fran and Doria 1994My parents were married in Rossland in the Kootenay Region
of British Columbia. Their families moved to there
in the 1940's from the Prairies.
Doria was born in the early 1940's in Ormeau,
Saskatchewan. His parents Romeo Croteau and
Loretta St. Pierre had a small homestead near Big River, Saskatchewan. In the late 1940's they
left Saskatchewan moving to Rossland and purchased a
small farm at the base of Red Mountain Ski Hill.

Romeo and FamilyRomeo and Loretta's DaughtersRomeo worked at the Cominco
smelter in the nearby city of Trail.
Doria has 4 younger sisters all
of which reside within British Columbia. Doria's only brother the youngest child, Joseph, passed away in 1950.
After the death of Romeo in 1958
Loretta sold the farm and the family moved into a house in Rossland
which today is occupied by one of her daughters.
Loretta passed away in the autumn of 1996.
