BROWN - On February 10, 1930, at her late residence, 88 Woodside Avenue, Elizabeth Greenwood, beloved wife of the Reverend W. J. H. Brown, pastor of the Annette Street Baptist Church.

Remains may be viewed at her late home till 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, or at Annette Street Baptist Church from 12 till 3 o'clock Wednesday, where service will be held at 3 p.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.

BAPTIST PREACHER BEREAVED OF WIFE
Mrs. W. J. H. Brown Passes After a Lingering Illness


Following a lingering illness, the death occurred yesterday of Mrs. W. J. H. Brown, wife of Rev. Dr. Brown, pastor of Annette Street Baptist Church, at her home, 88 Woodside Avenue.

Mrs. Brown was the daughter of Rev. Dr. J. B. Moore, the oldest living Baptist minister in the Province of Ontario, at present spending his winter in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born at Whitedale, Ont., she graduated from the University of Toronto in 1898, having specialized in languages and history. She taught for several years in the Renfrew High School, and in 1903 was married to Rev. Mr. Brown, then pastor at Brownsville, Ont.

Mrs. Brown had endeared herself to congregations ministered to by her husband at Brantford, Hamilton, and for 21 years at Annette Street Baptist Church, Toronto. She had been active in the Bible School and the Missionary Society. She was a Vice-President of the Women's Missionary Society of the Regular Baptists of Canada.

Surviving are her husband and two sons,
Rev. W. Gordon Brown, pastor of Orangeville Baptist Church, and a teacher in the Toronto Baptist Seminary, Toronto and Lloyd Douglas Brown, at home. Three brothers also survive, W. H. Moore, Chairman of the Tariff Advisory Board, Pickering; H. C. Moore, Toronto and A. Moore of St. Petersburg, Florida.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon from Annette Street Baptist Church at 3 o'clock. The remains will rest in the church from 12 noon until 3 o'clock.
