BETH CORK BRIDE OF DR. B. R. BROWN

Christ Church Ceremony With House Reception Held Saturday

CHAPLIN CR. HOME

At Christ Church, Deer Park on Saturday, the marriage took place of Miss Elizabeth (Beth) Cork, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Cork, to Dr. Brock R. Brown, son of Mrs. Brown and the late Mr. Gordon A. Brown.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a vellum-colored novelty sheer, made on classic lines, the full circular skirt falling in gathers from a low hip line, fitted bodice, with low neck-line and full pleated sleeves and armlets. She wore a crownless hat of matching material; and carried orchids and bouvardia. Her only attendant was little Miss Susan Blackburn, niece of the bridegroom, dressed in a smocked dress of material similar to the bride's gown, with hat to match. Rev. Canon H. F. D Woodcock officiated, with Mr. J. Donson at the organ. Dr. Brown's cousin, Mr. Roger Godden, was groomsman. The church was decorated with palms and lilies.

Following the ceremony, the relatives of the bride and bridegroom attended a reception at the home of the bride's parents on Welland Avenue, Moore Park. Dr. and Mrs. Brown left by motor for a honeymoon trip. They will reside at their new home at 41 Chaplin Crescent.
