BROWN, Vera Beatrice E. A., M.A.

Peacefully at St. Vincent Hospital, Ottawa on Saturday, March 2, 1985, in her 91st year.  Vera Kenny, formerly of Toronto, beloved wife of the late Professor George Williams Brown.  Dear mother of Kenneth Charles, Shirley Vivyan (Mrs. John Hadwen) of Ottawa, the late Sylvia A. E. (Mrs. John Gwynne-Timothy) and the late Roger J. E. Brown.   Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Ruth and Janet Brown, and sons-in-law John Gwynne-Timothy and John Hawden.  Sister of Melvin K. Kenny of Toronto, the late Nelson Clarke Kenny, and the late Hazel Irene Kenny.   Funeral arrangements by "Humphrey Funeral Home-A.W. Miles Chapel", 1403 Bayview Ave., Toronto (at Davisville Ave.).  Visiting hours Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 11 to 12 noon.  Funeral service at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, Toronto, on Thursday March 7 at 2 p.m.  Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trevor Davies / Margaret Phillips Group of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, the Endowment Fund of Victoria University or the Alzheimer Society.
